What is the best way to go about disputing a parking ticket in Ontario?

I am a student at Loyalist College in Belleville. I have purchased a student parking pass, but today, I got a ticket. Apparently, I parked in the "staff" parking lot. So, I was issued a $10.00 ticket. Might I add, that the lot was not properly marked for "staff parking".

If it wasn't marked for staff parking, you should take a picture of the area as proof of that and go argue it out...but make sure to weigh the benefits of arguing the ticket. Is it worth driving to court, going through the paperwork, having to take a chance that the judge might not care anyways?

I know it sucks, especially since you bought a pass and you are a student, so I would probably argue it just to prove them wrong, if anything.
