like mentioned above if you are in US or Canada the law says pedestrian has the right of way in a croswalk, but i wouldn't trust it. on the other hand in Asia and many other parts of the world, the driver has the right of way. you should always be careful. who was right or wrong means nothing to a dead pedestrian.If its at a pedestrian crossing(usually a stop sign) then you, But if the car is coming down the street its the cars right of way you cant just walk infront of a moving car.
