Question:
come to an intersection. Green light. Drive through. Your making sure no one is crossing. You have a car behind you. An all the sudden to your left. There are people crossing traffic. Not in your way. But you slow down just in case they come in front of you. But you don't let them cross. Because your sort of stuck coming off an intersection, and a car behind you. Could you get in trouble; for not letting someone cross a crosswalk if a cop saw you? Thanks for the info.

If a pedestrian is crossing in front of you, they have the right of way and you have to stop for them. The laws may vary in your state; in California it's a $250 fine for not stopping, plus two points on your driving record.
What are "blind child" and "deaf child" warning signs?
if you have a greenlight then there is no way they have the right to walk perpendicular to your direction of travel. run them over!Important question for a mechanic Please!?
No, because you're actually across the crossing enough for it not to be a crime. The guy behind you, though, would have to stop to let them finish crossing. You would go on.you could but the people should stop first if you were there first as you could cause an accident from behind.
I am a qualified accident investigator does anyone need a Case working on?
Mostly, you could get in trouble for not knowing the difference between YOUR and YOU'RE.why do people do drunk-driving?
people NO. They only have the right away if they are IN a cross walk and if the WALK LIGHT IS ON.who can look at a semi drivers log book?
Nope green light at an intersection allows you to go. The only time your supposed to let them cross is if you are turning on a green light (not a green arrow which would allow you to turn in from of them) so that you are interfeering with the path of the pedestrians. In the case of going straight on green its their mistake as long as you dont hit them.is there such thing as a motored unicycle? how bout motor roller skates?
I live in Wisconsin and the state law requires the driver yields to pedestrians. Check your state laws.Is it legal to turn right at a red light from a two way street onto a one way street?
As you describe it, no, you can't get into trouble. Pedestrians must cross in a crosswalk when it is SAFE to do so, and they do not have the right-of-way when they walk against the light. If you want to make a left turn at an intersection, and your'eon the right side do you go 1st?
Somewhat related, the most common problem I see with pedestrians is when they just walk into traffic, believing that they can do so as long as there is a crosswalk. But that's not the law. They must wait for a break in traffic, then cross. Then any cars approaching must stop.
