What is the Safety Rating for the 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited?
Never never never buy a used car seat, unless you can be absolutely certain it meets specific safety criteria! A child's life is not worth the few dollars that are saved. What can you do? Call the local health department or hospital - sometimes they offer a car seat program at little or no cost. You can also contact a child passenger safety technician in your area and ask if they have any connections - often they receive grants to purchase car seats for low income families. If the child needs a special needs car seat for a specific medical condition, his pediatrician can write a "prescription" for it and insurance will usually pay for it, just like they would pay for home oxygen or apnea monitors. Finally, a decent car seat can be purchased new in the box for as little as $40 for a child his age and size - maybe friends and family could take up a collection or have a small fund raiser to help them out. What a great thing you are doing for this family!Transportataion is the big cause of pollution why people need them?for their death?
I'm not sure about giving away carseats, but I do have a few suggestions -Go to the larger Goodwill-type thrift shops. There's one near me that always has about 5-10 car seats, and they cost anywhere from $3-$10. So it's not free, but almost.
Make speaking in the class about who is better car or bus for travilling and why??
Try swap meets, or flea markets, there should be many car seats and around the same prices, also you can give a sad story to the owner, and maybe get a cheaper price.
'Break glass' fire alarms or emergency exits on trains/coaches?
Try looking in the newspaper for garage sales, especially ones that list baby items. A car seat is one of the most "findable" of items at garage sales. Also you can tell the owner your story and I'd bet they'd be thrilled to give you the car seat - honestly. They'll feel like they did a good deed, and most garage sales are not done to make lot$ of money, they're done to free up space in the house. So I'm betting you'll find a free on that way. Also some of the garage sales list a phone number so you won't have to waste valuable gas either - just call, and see how it goes.
MY BEST IDEA - check out your local freecycle or local Yahoo! Group. We have active groups in our town for both, and I'd bet you can score a free car seat by tomorrow.

Does anyone know anything about anti hoon laws? please help?
If they don't have car seats to give away, they'll be able to direct you to someone who does, or at least someone who has them available for a very reduced cost. They'll also help you select an appropriate seat for the child and teach the parent how to properly use and install it.
Can anyone direct me to a website that sells 6-8" traffic/safety cones w/majority of body cut out?
Whatever you do, I strongly advise against getting a car seat from a garage sale, thrift shop, flea market, etc. It is never a good idea to buy a used car seat that you don't know the history of. It may have hidden damage, missing parts, be recalled, or have been in a crash, in which case it is NOT safe to use. A used car seat is also likely to be expired. Most car seats are only good for 6 years. If you're still considering a used seat, please at least use this checklist to determine whether or not it is safe to use: http://www.cpsafety.com/articles/usedsea...

Used carseats are NOT safe, and should never be used.
What are some jobs that require a driving record?
Check with his local fire dept. Mine gives away car seats to parents who are obviously in need, and demonstrates proper installation and use. ABSOLUTELY don't buy a used one unless you can confirm it's history because like bicycle helmets, most car seats should be discarded after being involved in an accident. Sometimes damage isn't obvious and can reduce the car seat's protective qualities.More Questions & Answers ...
