No you have to be 17 to be legally allowed to drive a car!! However if you know someone who owns private land you can practice driving around there because it is private property!!

I take it you mean legally? If so then No because you have to apply for a provisional liscence before you can start and for that you have to be 17. Wait another year- it will come quickly.

Not on the roads, no - you can't get your provisional license until you are 17. You could have lessons on privately owned land though ( with the permission of the land owner! ), but this wouldn't really give you all the practical experience you'd need for passing your test.

Only if it's done on private property. Or if you have a disability you can get your provisional at the age of 16. Otherwise to get your provisional (and therefore to take driving lessons on public roads) you have to be 17.

There are some schemes around the country that allow you to learn on a private site, often very good facilities with road / junctions etc laid out. This is obviously dependant on where you live.

Also worth noting that you can get your provisional license at 16 not 17 as many people have stated. Your moped entitlement starts at 16, your provisional car entitlement starts on your 17th birthday.

No. You are NOT allowed to drive a car on public roads until your 17th Birthday. No driving school will even touch your money until you are 17 AND have a provisional licence.
