Question:
My opinion is that it would save lives & protect the children.
Answers:
What seats are side curtain airbags for?
In response to krazylittlebaboon the problem is not the bus getting harmed, but the children on the bus. It is the sudden stop when a child (or anyone else) hits a part of the bus, like the seat in front of them or the inside wall of the bus, or the roof in case of a rollover.***CAN someone please help me with TRUCK TIRE advice??***?
If all safety protocols are meet a bus will not “stall out” on a rail road track, they are required to stop (not slow down) and not proceed if a train is visible, then they are not allowed to shift gears till the bus is fully clear of the tracks.
Until we can make sure the bus drivers follow the laws to keep our children safe (I have seen school bus drivers talking on cell phones, what the hell are they thinking??) the children should indeed be wearing seat belts
Seat belts save lives, in all accidents you are better off to be seat belted than not.
Is it legal to drive your car in reverse in order to get it to a mechanic?
And please do not say if you are knocked out or in water you are better off with out a seat belt, there are no statistics to back that up.
How come New Hampshire has no seatbelt law?
I agree! The bus driver wears one to protect him/her self. Why shouldnt the kids? How can I make my car more secure?
But remember a school bus is basically a bus and nothing cause really cause harm to it unless it's an 18 wheeler. they don't have seat belts in cause they have to get off in a hurry they don't have to worry about a stuck kid. like if it stalls out on a railroad track everyone can just hurry off through the back door.Yes. The safety is very important, and in this kind of a situation. money is not a factor.
Would anyone care to share with me their driving test experiences?
i think yes because a car needs them so should a bus!More Questions & Answers ...
