Question:
Why is it accepable to people to drive while under the influence?
Recently I saw a man loading his family into there truck after a trip to the snow. While he's doing this, he's working on a Corona. Then a few minutes later there was a full one in his cupholder. And this doesnt include the flask that he is drinking from the whole time. Now I realize this is an extreme example, and I dont know what was in the flask, but I cant count the number of times ive heard or read that someone was hit by a drunk driver. This man had his family with as well, it seems like there is an attitude of superiority to the effects of alchohol. Why are there so many examples like this?

Have you herd of flying cars, when are thay going to easiest?
it's not acceptable. i agree that people who have been drinking have impaired judgement, and those that choose to drive usually feel like they aren't too drunk to drive. i'm from wisconsin, one of the drinkingest states there is, and i can't tell you the number of times i've seen people do it. now i live in texas, where it's legal to have an open beer in the car while you're driving. explain THAT one to me. my friends and i have always had a designated driver, and i don't know why everyone doesn't. even if you don't run someone over, is it really worth losing your liscense to get busted for DUI? there are just too many folks who can't or won't control their drinking habits.Should there be an upper age limit on driving?
It is under no circumstances acceptable. I hope you called the police and told them what you saw. Not only was this man endangering his own life but also the lives of his family members and also anyone he may happen to hit. I know way too many people drive while under the influence. I think part of it is that drinking impairs a person's judgement and they think that they aren't too drunk to drive. I wish I could help you with this problem. Why would you think it acceptable? It is not, and that's pretty much universal and in all jurisdictions. Drunk driving is taken seriously. If you see it, call it in and give license plate if possible, make model and color and direction of travel.
Give me five reasons why you you should use your seatbelt.?
It's unacceptable, totally. However you have evil jerks out there who seem to believe that driving is a right, not a privilege. They will drive with a suspended license or with no license-or they will boast that they can 'handle it'. I'd say society is better without them-they have no regard for any life other than their own.More Questions & Answers ...
