It's not illegal to take your Dog in a car, so i'd very much doubt it's illegal to have a dog in the cab of a lorry. Just take your dog to work with you,,I drive a class 1 and the dog is always with me,,it's good company when you work alone,,besides you hardly ever see a copper these days,,they have been replaced by a cheaper pretend plastic version called Vosa,,you have seen them,,another Labour ideaas far as i can remember ur not allowed to have any loose objects that may cause obstruction (if u stop suddenly will it fall forward and cause u an injury and my lead to an accident) so yes get a seat belt safty harness for your dog for safty reasons..
