Question:
The dash board lights will not come on. It is a 1977 .
Answers:
Who is at fault in this car accident?
If none of them come on could be the headlight switch itself thatwhat controls all your lightingEither a blown fuse or a bad switch, or the bulbs are all burned out, or the connection between the harness and the gauge cluster is bad.
Good answers so far, but did you also try rotating the headlamp/dash switch pull out that goes from dim to bright for the dash lights and also has a position for turning on the dome light when you're inside the car with the door(s) closed.
VW Passat 1.9 TDI handbrake (55 plate)?
check...........fuse,head light switch,bulbs,socket,s/circuit board...or ground strap to dash.what crashes more planes or trains?
probably a fuse some where and its easy to find under the dash. How come my house has wheels under it but we can't haul it down the road?
It could be a # of things wrong. I used to own a 1970 Fleetwood Brougham (damn good cars for there day). It could be the fuse, light switch, or wiring. For me. It ended up being a loose wire behind the dash. Get a Chilton's manual and see what the prob could be. You can get them at any Auto Zone, Napa, or O'Rilly's.If I can't see with one of my eyes can I get my drivers liscense:(?
blown fuse or a bad switchAny tips for driving in the snow?
it is possible all the bulbs are burnt out then again the headlight switch carries a rheostat or it is next to the headlight switch for dimming interior and dash lightMore Questions & Answers ...
