I would get it fixed as soon as possible. With the weather like it is, every time you turn your heat on it's going to crack even more. Here in Georgia, you can get fined for a crack in your windshield. Yes, it could be dangeroususually it's no big thing but a lot of cracks will weaken the windshield and in way too many cars these days the windshield is part of the structure of the car, so if it goes all the way across get it replaced
