Question:
I see this happen all the time here in my state. Who started this practice anyway? Don't ppl know that inching through a red light will not make the light turn green? What is your view on this and do you do it? If you do this, why do you do it?
Answers:
whats a bad case of road rage that you have had?
And then when it does turn green they take forever to take off! It's so irritating. I see people do it all the time, and I honestly don't know why. I know in some more populated cities their are lights that are motion sensored, but not to the point where you need to keep inching forward. I personally don't do it. It's pointless.Whats the point of us having UK driving licences if people from other countries?
Not a chance . People can't drive where I live. You need to stay a car length behind the light and then you may be safe.Does anyone know were i can get rules on hgv parking and who to complain to in lancashire?
well a lot of people are in a hurry to get somewhere these days, just overlook it and very soon you'll stop noticing them :-)I don't do it and hate it when others do. It's dangerous. They block your view and when the light does turn green, you have to wait for them to move because you can't see if someone is hurtling through the intersection on a red light.
Can't the d@mn calls and snacks wait?
It happens in every state. Everyone just seems to be in a big frickin hurry these days. No, I do not do it, I would rather arrive at my destination safe then late, does that make sense? And what about those people that insist on driving while talking on their cell phones, that is just insane, hasn't anyone ever heard of hands free devices?Who is at fault in this car accident?
If they do that at a red light camera they will get a ticket. The law in every state says that any part of your car is past the stop line once the light is red there is no difference than if you ran it in the first place. However, I think people do that because they are impatient and usually its a sign (and I've seen it) that if a car isn't coming they are going to take off!!A friend of mine says it DOES make the light turn green, b/c the stripe senses there's a vehicle that wants to go. But it's never worked for me, and at this point I believe it to be an urban legend.
