Brief me on the procedures involved in getting the driving licence in Qatar ?
If one is turning left and the other is going straight through, then the car that stopped first has right of way.Can you pass a stopped school bus if there is a median between the roads?
The person to your left has the right of way. Now I know, you are thinking we are to each other's left. That would be correct. The other deciding factor is who came to a complete stop first. These days most people don't bother so that one goes out the window. Then you have a right turn has the right of way over a left, most people ignore than one too.
My rule? Let htem go first, I avoid an accident that way and they may be in a hurry.
Do you think the law that you must wear your seatbelt is a violation of your rights?
very simple, this is not an "all way" stop sign.the law first come first go does not apply to this kind of intersection.
even the left turn car cames first, the right of way still belongs to the car which is going straight.
always remember, the right of way in North America is : straight first, right second and left the last.
example, accident in the traffic light intersection, the car run the red, yellow or the green light and hit the car turnning left, the left turn traffic will always be at fault...OK!
