That p****s me off too. As for toll roads I think the Darling has lost the plot and so has anybody else who thinks this will work. The idea being that it will force people off the motorway and ease the congestion is quite correct but at the cost of people trying to do their journey by A or even B road which will cause absolute havoc and even more conjestion in our town and cities. Why why why dont MP's listen to the public before its too late and stop trying stupid ideas thought up by a bunch of wrinkley wine sodden fools smelling of pee sat around a walnut table not too far away from number 10 and just abolish road tax and increase tax on fuel? Darling is stuffing the motorist yet again and brown has had another go today by yet again making fuel more expensive and therefore putting up transport charges and then food prices up again and what a big deal for pensioner yet again 3,6% and they want 15 times that for their own pay rise when are people going to say enough is enoughBecause he can afford the charges whereas ordinary mortals will be forced onto the highly congested and much more dangerous back lanes just to get to work to pay the already high taxes so that he can get paid his exorbitant salary

No political party is interested in social justice for the majority of motorists in the UK. The Car Party will fight for: more parking places for cars abolish wheel clamping, more park and ride schemes, reductions in Fuel Tax, 24/7 working on road works and harsher penalties for serious car crime.

We are a very new party and even getting this far has cost a lot of money. We feel strongly about this as a family with a disabled driver. The motor car only contributes 20% of UK co2 emissions and is being unfairly targeted. Those sort of drivers annoy me too. They do it, I guess, because they know they can get into the queue faster by staying in lane until the last minute. Not sure it is about 80% of drivers being planks...........more about 80% of then being inconsiderate of the other 20% sensible and considerate drivers.Good news, Darling is now Secretary of State for Trade and Innovation.......maybe his successor will have different and/or better suggestions.
