Car crash by Short Hills Mall?

Kay, I heard about this story of a mother and her teenage daughter [senior in high school] driving on the way to the Short Hills Mall in New Jersey for prom dresses. I think it went something like a truck cut them off and they crashed - the woman couldn't feel her legs and the daughter was unconscious? Then, a by passer saw, went over to help, but she smelled gasoline and backed up. With in seconds the car exploded. I know this really happened, either about 2 years ago or around there. Anyone heard of this, or know any information about it? It's so sad =[
