In 1968 American Automobile Manufactureres where required by Federal Law to install Saftey Belts.For years before that Auto Makers had put the Anchor Points in for Seat Belts. The public could order the car with Seat Belts Factory Installed. But nobody did. If they did, they were usually some type of Stock Car Raceing or Modified Auto Raceing.
The Tucker was the first American Auto to have Seat Belts factory installed, 1948. But they went broke.
