Micro Fuzion Radar detector?

Question:
I am considering buying the above detector but I have a couple of questions about it. Firstly, do they work as well as they say in that it has a detection area 360 degrees around the car. Will you get a warninh when a police car is behind, also how good is it at detecting the cop standing on a bridge pointing a gun at you or sitting in the van and pointing it thru a little window. I do obey speed limits generally but on a bypass or mororway all you need is a policeman having a bad day and bang, 3 points for doing 80 mph.
