What can you do about reckless drivers?

Question:
I recently nearly got run into a ditch when a pick-up truck blazed by me going as much as 80 on a 65 mile per hour road. He was SO close I could see the pinstriping. Other than calling the police and reporting his plate and make, are there any other legal actions I can take? This guy could have killed me!
