Question:
i'm doing a road safety board at work about using mobile phones while driving, speeding, d&d etc and want to know if there are any sites with pics of rta's, police reports on offences and court reports for people who have been done for road traffic offences.
Answers:
How many miles driving per day is considered unsafe for professional drivers?
Not sure where you live, but try and talk to Traffic Police (the ones with white hats instead of black). The old sweats will have some stories to tell you about mobile phone usage and accidents caused by it. Contact your local constabulary and they may even be able to arrange for you to go out for an hour or two in a traffic car to view how phone usage affects people's driving. How do you protect yourself in the event that you actually hit a deer with your car to avoid injury?
look on the internet under road traffic accidents, u can usually find most things lookin that way.Is it legal to change lanes IN an intersection?
or go to your local library, they may have somethin u are lookin for there.
good luck
With crash helmets is it illeagle or dangerous to.......?
happy new year :-)
That isn't one of the things consistently gathered in accident investigations. Our police force asks "Was a cell phone in use?" but accept whatever answer they are given, and very few will admit to it knowing it will be a factor in the accident. Kind of like the "was your seat belt on?" question.
