The real problem is not the aggressive drivers. The problem is all of the idiots who do not know how to drive on the road. Driver's tests should not be a quick spin around a parking lot to show you know where the gas and break pedals are. You should have to go on the freeway during the test...merge with traffic, pass people, etc., to get your license. Then everyone should be periodically tested at random, especially the older you get. Keep it random like gettin picked for jury duty. No offense, but old people that are out and about during the day are the worst drivers and cause the most problems.Heck, I love how they drive in Mexico. If on a two-lane road and someone comes up behind you going faster, they pull over and let them pass. Here, we feel the need to keep going slow and hold that person up. Then you get mad at them for driving too close...just get out of their way! I pull over all the time if someone is on my bumper and there's no passing lane. It's a better situation for everyone involved. I wish they would teach that courtesy here.

I live in Southern California. FIX the Freeways- more space, more car pool lanes. Also- stop bldg homes where there is no infrastructure of roads and business to support them- oh! AND SCHOOLS! and have someone besides an "engineer "design the roadways because they OVER engineer everything and the builders could be adding much more to the money pot after the mess they create with new homes-then at least in our traffic addled minds we could at least see something happening and calm down a bit- as for individuals- ticket them. 2) if you are driving slow, please move out of the passing lane
3) teach people to drive around curves on the highways (you can still turn the wheel at 65 mph)

But what would happen to the economy if the state didn't give licenses to complete idiots? Traffic would flow smoother and we wouldn't use as much gas, lowering gas tax income for the state. Fewer taxes from the sale of cars, tires and accessories would come in as well.

We should educate the people about traffic rules regulations and need of safety measures among them. Media has great influence on society all the media persons should come forward to tackle this issue in common. Only public awareness and their concern can reduce this problem.
