Rule of thumb on the road...If you see a truck without a CB and you are entering "heavy" traffic. Stay away from him, because he will be the one running wide open when the back-up starts and the first to tail end a couple of cars/trucks.

Truckers Started to use CB Radios in the 60's and Early 70's.

In the late 60's, the fad became popular in the mid 70's when the American public jumped on the CB band wagon. Only your true Billy Big Riggers still enjoy it.

Has anyone experienced front end vibration with a 2001 Dodge 1500 Ram Truck 4WD Off Road suspension?

late 60's early 70's but you had to register with the fcc for a license.than if approved you would be issued a license call letters and 10 codes for use on the air.before the invention of cell phones it was no issue to talk to king edward island from ks or california.you could talk anywhere you wanted with a good antenna and a linear amplifier.gone are those days..you could have what is called sideband channels, the radios were simple 23 channels, the late 70's saw the introduction of 40 channel radios.it was difficult back than because of wiring in the trucks and ground planes for the antenna.all the smokey and the bandit jive is gone(thank god).but each generation has their own way of talking.
