Driving interstate in australia?

Question:
I was just wondering, i hold a queensland p type licence and wanted to know what the rules would be if i travel interstate to nsw. Do i need to wear p plates when i travel to NSW as you dont need to in qld and at what speed am i able to travel at, as qld is full speed and NSW has restrictions for p platers. If some one could help me out with what they know or if they have inquired themselves in the passed, i would love to hear from you.

i use to live in Queensland about 10 years ago, i was on my P's. i moved down to Vic and was told to display p plates and change my licence over within 3 months. what i did was just contact the local Vic roads or main roads department and get the right information. A quick phone call could save u a lot of grief
