Ok. i steped outside my door after waking up this morning. then walked over to my truck (10 feet.) to get to my class today. when i got to the door and opend it. I Noticed all my stuff was out on the seat and rummaged through. then i saw my sirius satellite radio window mount setup. was gone. i must of left one of my doors unlocked. im sure there is something else missing but i cant be sure. it just looks like the psrson(s) were looking for things of value. ive never had anything stolen before, or broke into. Should i call the cops? talk to my landlord of the complex? or am i just out of luck? can they trace the setup, being its satellite? hopefully sirius will help me out when i call them to cancel my service. i'll probally go around and ask my neighboors if they have anything vandelized or stolen too? this suck please help

Go ahead and call the police incase the thief tries to sell your radio they may get busted if it has been reported at stolen. Pawn shop are suppose to check to see if a radio is stolen before they buy one from someone.Your landlord has nothing to do with it.How do hgv drivers check their tacho discs?
A good deterrent to prevent this from happening again is buy car alarm stickers for your truck windows. They sell them real cheap on eBay.
Yes, call the cops. But don't hold any hopes they can help. Like the other answers said, you'll need a report for insurance, and in case they do find your stuff. It sucks having the low life scum of the Earth take your stuff. Been there more than once. As far as the Sirius radio goes, yes, they can track it. So, if the thief is stupid enough to try and turn it back on, you could find them!
yes call the police and let them investigate.also call your satelitte service provider,your unit has a unique id number that is needed to turn it on,if someone tries they can then let the police know who has it and possibly trace it back to the thief.sorry and good luck
