Question:
if street racing is so bad why do more teens die each year of drunk driving and drug use and violence, than street racing. Everyone says street racing is so bad, but innocent people are getting killed at the risk of street racing, well ya but innocent people also get killed when its completly on accident, i mean come on so ya there has been a few accidents where someone was being stupid on the freeway and wiped out and killed some innocent people, but a teenager in a gang has a shoot out and kills an innocent person, or a drunk driver crashes and kills an innocent person, or a plane crashes becuase the pilot was tired and kills alot of innocent people, but yet street racing is still the biggest issue. Street racing is my way of hanging out with my freinds and having fun instead of drinking and doing drugs. I love my car and i wouldn't put me or my freinds in risk of any danger when i am racing, we simply do it late at night and on a empty street so what is the harm of street racing.

What should be included in an emergency kit to keep in my car?
i totally agree with you!Would you drive a Mini-Cooper with run-flat tires up to Lake Tahoe in the winter?
i do my racing at like 2:00 in the morning on empty back roads when everybody is gone.
What if you get pulled over while in the fast lane?
PEACE OUT!
It often kills. Comparison of the other items doesn't make street racing better. All of these things are illegal for teens, and choosing to kill someone in a different way doesn't make it better.
black taxis! does anybody know what that sticker on the front means?
It all depends on your car quality and your driving ability. How much do you reckon you can exceed the speed limit and get away with it?
no its Necessary if i need money to pay my bills shh don't tell the policeYesterday I had to slam on my breaks so hard to avoid a crash that my car shut off....?
Yeah, well, more kids die in swimming pools than playing Russian roulette with an automatic. . . that doesn't make it good. I wish I could remember the technical name for the rather large flaw in your reasoning. The problem is that you make a relative comparison that misses the absolute. Theft might not be as bad as murder, but that does not make it good or righteous, if you get my meaning. Street Racing might not be as bad as driving drunk, but that does not mean that flagrantly violating the law and endangering those around you for fun is either good or acceptable behavior.Just because people get killed in other ways does not negate the fact that street racing is bad and dangerous. It is obvious why it bad. Many people are not abstaining while they are street racing, such as you are. Also, many people are not doing this on an empty street. If you want to race, go to a track. What's wrong with that? I also disagree with you that street racing is "the biggest issue". You hardly ever hear about it. Drunk driving is a more serious problem. But that's not the point. And, it's illegal. Duh.
How to improve your mirror reflex's while driving?
As a past street racer, I can say, yes, it can kill. It is certainly dangerous - you're disobeying traffic laws and you can not react to all of the outside variables. If you race on a strip or circle track, the only thing you have to wory about is your car and other racers. On the streets it's other drivers, pedestrians, etc.Why is seat belt required on airplanes but not on buses or subways?
PS, anyone young and immature enough to be street racing has no driving ability/experience.
In most major metropolitan areas there are drag strips for street racing, these places are often designed for the protection of the drivers and there audience. In Arkansas it may be a bit of a drive for most but there is a place called Prescott where racing on a quarter mile is permitted I am sure there is a fee that goes along with it. but hay safety first right?
i am getting my service and mot tomorrow morning,,?
I would say it depends on your skill, the quality of your car, whether or not you know how much you and your car can handle, the quality of the road you happen to be racing on as well as traffic conditions. It also depends on if that drunk driver happens to crash into you while your racing by running a red light. Overall if you're racing in fixed controlled conditions then I'd say no, but if you're on some random road that you're not familiar with then I'd say you've got a good chance of crashing. Especially if theres a lot of traffic.good points, but your comparrison isnt really fair. why? cause a lot more people drink then street race. thus for more people are going to die from drunk drivers. it seems like street racing is for a very small percentage of the population. both kill, and both are a act of stupidity. you have to remember though, the streets your racing on are not meant for high speeds. what happens if you blow a tire, or there is a deer or animal? ther are risks in everything we do, but personally i think street racing shouldnt be such a crime. the punishment should not be any worse then that of a drunk driver.
All you people who've bought Speed camera detectors are going to be annoyed?
If your going 90 mph and you hit another car going 90 mph you willl probblyy diehow accident are cause each year due the use of cell phone?
yep 3 deaths down the street from my house in one year and they all have make shift grave sites/memoriols there now to show where they died. all 3 where on the news and the cars where in pieces. like garbage scattered.I think you've already answered your own question. Yes, street racing does kill. The problem with street racing as opposed to the other things that kill that you mentioned is that, you can race your street car legitimately at a local race track.
Company car drivers driving time in a given 24 hours?
If you are really serious about street racing, work with your local law enforcement to help to arrange a site for official supervised races. I've read where several midwestern towns set up street races for very small fees to cover having EMTs and the fire departments there.
If you do check it out, you're going to find that most cops like to street race, too, and I'm sure they'd be glad to make or sponsor a venue that does street racing safely.
Good luck; and in the meantime, don't get yourself killed.
what are good ways to keep your car from sliding on ice?
Yes... it definitely kills.More teens die each year of drunk driving, drug use, and violence because it's much more common than street racing. Street racing doesn't happen everywhere and everyday, when all the other stuff does... drugs and violence happen on a daily basis.
Is there any professional driving and riding schools in winnipeg?
Oh my God. You're seriously comparing street racing with driving drunk or high? No way.Street racers choose to endanger themselves and others, and they make that stupid choice while sober. In law school, there's an entire group of cases devoted to street-racing stupidity, where people have hurt each other, sued each other, etc.
Car seat safety? Have you read the Consumer's Report?
You may think you're in control when you're racing; lots of people do. But reading all the cases, I can only come to the conclusion that you're making a stupid choice when you race. Even if you're a great driver, you're putting yourself and friends at a higher risk of being hurt for no necessary reason.

The main thing is the control of the area you are racing in. If you can't have at least 95 % control of the area you are racing in you are just waiting for the one person to mess up... It only takes one.
