Question:
Any one know what the laws are regarding car kids around 6 and needing a car seat in N.H.?
Do I need a car seat for them?
Answers:
My sister's dad had her in the car seat until she was almost eight! She's kind of small, though, and it turned out to be a good thing last winter when his Jeep hit black ice, spun out and flipped over. He was knocked unconscious when his head hit the windshield, but luckilu my little sister was safely restained in her car seat, completely unharmed. If the law requires the shild to stay in a safety seat until they're six then you may as well let them use until they're seven. It could seriously save their lives, and these are your children who probably mean the world to you. Keep them as safe as possible! But if you and the child feel it's fine and they're over six then it's fine. But remember, "around six" isn't six. If they're under six they must be in a safety seat.
