Question:
Me and my girlfriend have a baby coming up soon, I have a 1995 ford ranger extended cab.. super cab.. whatever. The seats are set sideways and really are not that big, when I put the carseat in to test it, it seems to be wobbly... Are you able to put a carseat in this vehicle?
Answers:
is LPG better or CNG better. Availability of LPG is easy or CNG is easy.?
Infant seats need to face to the rear, not sideways or toward the front. As far as the wobbly thing, if a seat moves more than one inch in any direction it is not properly installed. See your local police/sheriff/highway patrol, they can show you how to install the seat properly. How safe are those cars built for kids with battery motors?

Are the road safety measures to severe?
The baby's car seat must allow the baby to face REARWARD.....NOT SIDEWAYS OR TO THE FRONT. See the owners manual for the baby seat.Looks like you may have to trade your vehicle in on one that can accommodate a baby seat safely. If you have questions, stop in to any State Police barracks and they can check the installation to be sure the little one will be safe while the vehicle is in motion.
most baby car seats fit all cars
What is the best way to regain control of your car when you skid on black ice?
You can use a carseat in the Ranger but ONLY in the front seat!! The baby should always be facing the rear of the vehicle. NEVER put a carseat in the jump seats facing sideways because it will surely cause serious injury or death in the event of a collision. Your girlfriend will just have to ride in the back if you don't want to change vehicles.More Questions & Answers ...
