Practice, practice, practice

All car makes and models?

This is from my driving instructor decades ago. Pull up next to the car infront of the open space and align your wheels with it. Turn your wheel all the way to the right and start backing in. When 1/2 your car is past the back bumper of the car you lined up with start turning your wheel left and slowly back into the space. You will be able to easily back in and straighten out your car and walk away. Good Luck.

My brother in law got in a horrible car accident last night....?

it takes lots of practice, i approach it a little diferently, I decide before hand where I want the drivers side rear wheel to be when I finish, and do what I have to to get it there. It really is easy after you've practiced it a lot.
