MY car has a bulge / medium siz bump in the front tire on the drivers side?

I was leeting my friend drive and she rubbed up on the curb, it was only until then I noticed the bulge in the tire. Is it safe to drive with the bulge..should I just let some air out? Or get the tire changed completely. I drive my nephew to daycare so I'm afraid to put him back in it until I know if it's safe to drive..It happened today so any answers with good knowledge is appreciated ASAP!!
