with 15, you get ur permit, and 16 your drivers license. that is in the state of louisiana. with a permit u are supposed to drive with an adult (non sibling 21 yrs or older) or a sibling (18 yrs or older) . you also have certain times during the day when u can drive. as well as with 16, where u dont need an adult while driving. When u turn 18, u can drive at any time during the day and night.
