Answers:
Sounds like a wonderful fail proof plan. Drunk driving is SUCH a tradgedy. There was an 18 year old kid in our town who drank a TON (BAC of .3something) and ran a stop sign nailed a 54 year old man on the way home from the hospital where his wife had just died of a massive heart attack. His kids were left alone on this earth by their parents both in the same day. I think it is so sad, and the drunk driver "doesn't even remember" the incident. I think your device should be included in ALL cars.
Can you determine a bad driver by how they use a shopping cart?
when king kong shaves. No one would ever want that restrictive device in there vehicle.Mio C250 Sat Nav are they any good?
With any luck my loved ones wouldn't need it. I'm worried about the other people on the road. I'd want it installed in the cars of anyone who's ever been convicted of DUI or DWI.who invented the airbag in cars?
I don't dissagree that some should have this device installed in their vehicles. However...I don't think it should be mandated either. If you have a device which costs less than the court mandated ones...then great. How do u drive a vehicle w/a stick?
I personally have never had the need...but some do have the need. to imply that I should put it on my daughter's car...well that's presonal. I trust my daughter and she doesn't drink...so what's the purpose there.
Anyone have experience towing a car behind a rental truck?
Now let's think this through...you have a device which costs much less than the court mandated ones. then you ask...should be install it with time lines on it. Then you ask should it be a permanent part of the car.
what is best car in rural area?petrol car or Cong car who is the best?
ok I agree if your item works and costs less....then lets go with that. (although someone who has it installed doesn't necesarrily deserve a price break)
What are the safety rules riding in a RV in CA? Do you never have to wear a seatbelt?
The time line thing...you call party time..not a bad idea...but what about them people who get up at 10 am and start drinking? make it a full time system if you are going to use it.
why dont people pay attention and obey constrution signs when comming upon construction sites?
As far as making it a permanent part of the car...such as on the console or whatever...no...let's put camera's in your bathroom to make sure you aren't fonicating too ...big brother is watching us enough...only if it's needed do we put it in.
Good luck with your product.
Sorry but this will fail.
Will I tell you why? The people who need it most.. won't buy it.
What is the parallel parking dimensions?
The decent people who don't drink drive aren't likely to risk DUI in the first place so it would be pretty much a waste of money that concerned and responsible citizens were shelling out on whilst the boy racers and other drunks continued to drink drive and kill people.
Maybe if they somehow made it a law that all cars had to have one? That's the only way I can see something like this working
what are some questions that are asked in taking driving licese test?...?
ljhluhouhohFront wheel or All wheel drive?
This system, and others much more complex, have been available for decades. The market is absolutely flat for this and other lock-out items. Now, if you could produce a device that would detect erratic driving, phone 911 and give a GPS location automaticlly --- that may be something that could be embraced by the public and courts.Good luck.
