unless you have a real good alarm system on it ,they can get them,,i had some,and i know what you mean,even a cheap pocket knife will pop them off,but the only way i know of is to take them off and take them in with you when your away from the car,,other wise they can get them,,bad design isn't it,i got rid of mine because of this,,good luck,i hope this help,s.
