Do school buses need seat belts?

I say because people are like sheep. They see one idiot do it, so they follow.
Out in Tucson, we have what is called a stupid driver law for when there are posted road closed signs. If you drive around a posted road closed sign, and you get stuck (as in crossing a flooded wash or riverbed) and need to be rescued, you are responsible for the cost of that rescue. In other words, YOU, not the taxpayers, will foot the bill for paying the firefighters, police officers, etc., for your stupidity. That is my single most favorite law I have ever voted to have put on any ballot anywhere.

If I can't see with one of my eyes can I get my drivers liscense:(?

Experienced drivers listen to road signs. Years and experience shows us to read all signs and be ever vigilant in our driving. Respecting one and others on the road and our workers insures safe driving.

Driving statistics?

Many times I have driven past a road closed sign only to find that the roadworks were finished and I could get through, in fact more often than not I am not turned back. So, if you don't want people to drive through then make sure you take the signs away as soon as the road is clear.

Why do people feel the need to have their fog lights on when it's just dark out and there's no fog?

all the best PP

how do I record health and safety inspections and accidents?

Because there is a general lack of respect for laws, rules and regulations in this country. I've watched people driving on a 55 mph highway going easily 65-70 and not bat an eye - even as they fly past the highway patrol officer sitting in the median who does nothing! When laws are not enforced, people will just keep doing whatever they feel like.

NY STATE inspection laws?

Americans have become the newest "Me" Generation of everything for me, whatever I want, and the other guy be damned. There is no respect in the world any longer - and Americans are just echoing what is happening all over.

I want others opinions on this subject....Do you think school buses should have seat belts?

You are not alone - but there are some people that DO obey signs and laws and thank you construction workers for the hard work you men and women do each day despite the idiots out there who are only thinking of themselves.

How many miles driving per day is considered unsafe for professional drivers?

I think it's the "Cry Wolf" factor. Many times I see signs that say "right lane closed ahead" and I merge over to the left, only to find that the workmen left for the day and forgot to take down the signs. Now I have lost trust in those signs! I can only hope that contractors get fined when they forget to remove or cover the signs.

Traffic tickets are not for safety but revenue, right?
