I think i may have got flashed by a speed camera facing me.?

Question:
The speed limit was 40 mph and changed to 50.
The camera was the old type (big yellow one). They normally flash from behind. However in this case there were two cameras, one facing me and one facing oncoming cars. I assume that the one facing me was for the other side of the dual carriage way. The one facing the oncoming (which i assumed was for me) was a few yards ahead. As i approached the first camera it went off and as i approached the one a few yards ahead i noticed the white lines on the road, the second camera was not triggered. Therefore i assume that the first camera which was triggered was for the other side of the dual carriage way.
Well i hope this is the case because this happend on two occasions at the same spot.

Why do people play chicken with 18 wheelers ?
