first of all, when you stop pull off somewhere safe for you and the officer. Then put you vehicle in park/first gear and shut the engine off. Put your keys on the dash and your hands high on the steering wheel. This makes the officer more comfortable on his approach. Then immediately appoligize for what ever you think the officer has stopped you for. This always works for me.Why is driving so dangerous in Australia and New Zealand?
