How's the driving in Utah?

Someone told me the mortality rate for car accidents was very high in Utah? If this is true, is anything being done about it? Also, is there a manditory seatbelt law there?

far as anything being done about it, not much. hard dui charges, some cops monitoring, but not a lot.

Seat belts are a primary offense. Used to be a secondary, meaning if you got stopped for something else, they could tack on the seat belt. Now they can stop you for that only.
