The car will roll backwards on hill untill you press the break or press the gas. You aren't doing anything wrong.why do people take their kids out of a car on the roadside??
practice using your clutch. go to an area with a hill where there is no traffic and just take off there over and over until you get the feel of it.What should you do if you drive up on a bull in the road?
More gas less clutch. You just need to practice on a empty street until you get it.Even the best drivers will roll back a little in a stick when they are on a hill. If you are rolling all the way down the hill until you hit the bottom, then you have a problem.
Why does no one care about the 40,000+ people that die of traffic accidents each year?
Tack it out and drop the clutch! Savor the scent of burned rubber and revel in your smoke cloud you leave behind. Enjoy!where did I leave my truck last night?
When you are on a hill you have to make the clutch gas transition a little quicker. If you are have some time and are stopped at a light, slowly bring your foot off the clutch until you feel it start to grab, try to hold it there for a bit so you can get the feel of it, then (when it's your turn to go) slowly, but smoothly add the gas, you shouldn't roll back much. Try to lay off the break when practicing, but its a good idea to keep your Ebrake ready until you get the hang of it.Nothing your doing is wrong you just need to speed up what your doing. On the gas a little quicker and harder and up with the clutch quicker. This will take some time to find the balance so your not stalling , rolling back too far , or spin the tires . Practise practise practise. It will take time to find the sweet spot and every car or truck is different Good luck and safe driving

you,ll have to learn to hold the clutch out a little bit, while giving it a little gas it takes some getting use to ,,you,ll learn it,just don't get impatient with it no-body learns it the first time around,,give it a few weeks, you,ll catch on,,we all had to learn,,good luck with it,i hope this help,s.,have a good x-mas.thought i read somewhere that they have changed the mot test now to every 2 years,is this right ?
You might want to practice a bit more on clutch operation. Find a gentle up hill grade, stop the car, hold it there, then practice working the clutch, the brake pedal, and gas pedal in co-ordination with the tendency for the car wanting to roll backwards. Some people find they can use the right foot to work both the brake and gas pedals (toe & heel) such that the car doesn't have a chance to roll backwards. Some people find they like to use the hand brake to keep the car from rolling backwards. It takes a little practice.I have a military id do I still need a state drivers license?
You gotta learn to " catch" the car before it rolls which is letting the clutch out and giving it " the gas" more. It takes a little practice but I'm sure you will be a pro before long.Would Dodge Caliber be a safe bet car to take for a snowboarding trip?
