How far from a building doies a Jet A fuel truck need to be parked and whats the rule?
age 44----my opinionDriving at night is a little more dangereous than daytime. Visual glare and distance are factors.
Just because you know the road doesn't make it safe day or night. Just because you think you are safe because you drive the same road all the time doesn't mean the other person is familiar with the road or conditions.
Can you report aggressive drivers?
no, maybe you know the road but at night its harder to see abjects on the road such as animals or maybe accidents. 16yoDoes anyone drive or know someone who drives a fire truck or ambulance?
I would still use extra caution at night. You can't see things like animals or people or objects that might be on the road and that aren't illuminated by your headlights until you get right up on them. Also at night, you have extra problems with the glare of the headlights of oncoming traffic to deal with.
Why do some drivers slouch and lean way to the right when they drive?
What do you mean by '"reference if it is my opinion or what not"? What not what? What are you trying to say?Is it law that you can only be caught speeding in the lane next to or below the speeding device?
Isn't anything we write our opinion?
Is it allowed by law to have passengers in a 5th wheel trailer while traveling?
Anyways, if you are 'what not' going to post YOUR age, I'm 'what not' posting mine.
If you have enough light, you can drive safely at night. However, slower speeds are often recommended at night because animals are attracted to car headlights. If you travel slower, you might create less road pizza for the poor slobs that have to clean it off the road in the morning.
You may be safe but the bicyclist or the elderly person may be in danger.
Remember, it's your fault if you hit something that you may not even see until the last second. God Forbid.
It all depends on application.
Why is it ok to make right turns in red light at some intersections?
If you're tired and driving a poorly taken care of car, it will be more dangerous.
If you're alert and driving a car with bright headlights, it'll be just as safe, maybe safer, since everybody is more relaxed at night there wont be any tailgaters and few speeders.
Why are there no seatbelts on school buses?
Im 19 years old, I perfer nighttime driving, it's less stressful and the roads are near empty.
Why do people still drive cars that have been bashed in?
Actually on rural winding two lane roads it's safer at night because you can see the oncoming headlights on trees or rocks or whatever is beside the road, before you see the car where as in the daytime they just suddenly appear from around a corner.Car Bumpers, etc. Are insurance cos. and auto makers.?
The most dangerous time for as far as hitting an animal or person is pre dawn and dusk as headlights don't do much good and the lighting is poor.
Daytime is less dangerous visibility-wise but of course there are more vehicles on the road.
Why is it that when you're driving and looking for an address?
I truly believe the safest time to drive is later at night when there is little or no traffic and you have other car's lights to help you see them.
EDIT:
Someone else said something I should comment on. If you live in a high deer population area, you need to be aware of how they think. Invest in a pair of deer whistles. They actually do get their attention... now as to making them dart out of your way not so much. Also when a critter is beside the road and next to an embankment it is almost a certainty they will jump right in front of you when you are right on top of them. The reason is the sound bouncing off the embankment into that ear is louder than the sound coming in from the open road and they will always run away from the louder sound. So if you see a critter on the side of the road, slow down and be ready. Oh and the old wives tale that you never hit the first deer but the second one will get you. Absolutely true. Don't ask me how I know that. ;) Stay safe.
