There is no state in the US that does not have a speed limit. Years ago Nevada had areas with only "reasonable and prudent" guidelines and in more recent times Montana had no posted limits on some highways, but has since changed.what is the law regarding entering the highway/freeway?
Note that there are no speed limits on private property, such as a race track. However, if some public hazard is created on private property by excessive speed, the above may not apply.

i would say everyone has one. even if a sighn isn't posted it's suppose to be common knowledge what level of road has what what speed limit (such as gravel vs. a highway vs. a town road).How long (in seconds/minutes) would it take a vehicle traveling 1.6 mph to travel 10 feet/15 feet?

Not on highways, but if you want to see how fast something can go, you can usually find a race track. If you want to break a speed record, research how to get clocked at bonneville salt flats.Are there any states in the U.S that talking to cell phones while driving is illegal?
Germany may not have a speed limit on some of their highways, but they have a much tougher test before they license drivers--many people flunk a couple times before they pass, and they are required to take a class before re-testing. If the US were to allow something like that, they would have to take steps to be sure the drivers could handle it.
