Re-tested for what?

is it illeagal to drive with fog lights on at night?

I think that all drivers, regardless of age, should be re-tested every five years, because there are some pretty awful drivers out there who don't deserve to stay behind the wheel.

Behind The Wheel Driving Test?

I think it would depend on their driving history. Where I live few people know the rules of the road but have licenses. I know several people who have had their license for maybe a couple of hours before causing a wreck.

With more and more young drivers dying on the UK roads it is heart breaking?

I firmly believe in drivers over 60 should be re-tested every few years. We have a lot of accidents due to older people's neglect in driving. I was hit by a woman in her 80's. She ran a red light--she didn't want to stop. A lot of the older drivers are just getting careless. Don't follow stop lights, stop signs, or use their turn signal.

driving test?

NO...why should they be?? I feel that ALL young drivers are already penalized by paying higher insurance rates. Why? Because they are young and just starting to drive... That, to me, makes NO sense! Start everyone at the same rate. If you prove to be a good driver, you should be rewarded by staying at a reasonable rate. If you aren't, then start raising the rates!

WHAT kind of ROLE do HOA's have regarding speeding and traffic control?

ALL drivers shoudl be retested. Laws change, vehicles change, we develop bad driving habits. If you have a license you should be required to retest, ALL OF US.

What is the correct driving procedure with an automatic car stopping at lights and give ways?

Ok, here's my personal opinion. I think personally that EVERYONE whether young, old, or 1/2 way in between should be re-tested every 5 years. I've had my license for 20 years now, and trust me..............if I went for a re-test tomorrow, I"d probably fail because after 20 years I think I know the road, my car, and I will drive MY way not the right way. Again, should be mandatory that every driver be re-tested every 5 years or bye bye license.

what is the standard length of a parrallel parking space?

No, I think if you pass at 16 or 17, your skills only get better through 25. You're judgement might not always be the best, but you can't test that! So, I don't see re-testing as a solution...no one is going to go to their re-test while drinking...or play loud music and show off to friends during their test. That's when youngsters get in trouble driving. They have the necessary skills.

What is the meaning and purpose of the new numbered highway signs?

I agree with re-testing older folks. I'd say past 70 though. 60 is still young enough to have your wits about you.

Is it better to put the best tires on the rear of a front wheel drive car or the front?

I had to repeat my written test in California b/c I got a ticket, but not every state has a driving test in the first place. That should change, then the driving portion should be re-tested. The backlog in the DMV would go up if they required retesting, but it's worth it for our safety. They could do re-testing thru a seperate school, like driver's training schools that give you a certificate.

LED Focus Flash light are found where?

It should be against the law for people under 25 to drive.

If I all of a sudden went blind would you help me to my car?

like taking a continuing education, i think everyone, regardless of their age should be retested every 5 or so years, as laws can change and people can sometimes develop dangerous driving habits.
