And people seem to get stupid when it rains...they suddenly decide that now is the time to try things they wouldn't do if it were dry...changing lanes with no signals, trying to squeeze into spots that aren't big enough for their car. It's like the rain causes a temporary 20 point decrease in their IQ!

I think it is a sign of the times. People are impatient these days. Everything in this society is aimed at being quick and convenient. 50 years ago, people expected everything to take a long time. Now, anything that impedes someone's ability to get their immediate gratification is viewed as an imposition, and therefore cause for irritation. A sad state of affairs, I agree.

There are just as many disrespectful women drivers than there are men drivers because I have seen them. Road rage is a problem anywhere. If these stupid drivers would learn to leave the house earlier to get to where they are going without being late, then that is what they should be doing instead of speeding around and driving like a bunch of silly buggers.why is it people are so stupid when it comes to driving in rain? IN FACT i have been stuck behind people doing 40 on the fwy because it is OVERCAST and the road is not even wet. I WANT to be safe. Men are your problem on the road ? The biggest offenders I see here in the bay area are women in minivans with children, women in SUVS who think they're tuff, GUYS and GALS in trucks who think they're tuff.

I am a considerably safe driver. Haven't wrecked anything in years, don't talk on the phone, and try to pay attention to what I'm doing, but if one more jerkoff pulls in front of me and slams on the brakes, I swear I'm going to rip his tiny little head off. About a year ago I had a person pull in front of me and jam the brakes on down to 40 mph on the highway - with his 9 year old daughter in the backseat and me driving a tractor trailer. Road rage is a double edge sword. I'm pretty calm most of the time, but after dealing with the endless line of morons, my patience has its limits. Tougher standards for getting a license would be fantastic, with mandatory driving school also a major plus.I want others opinions on this subject....Do you think school buses should have seat belts?
Wow, that's a pretty sexist comment of yours. Since I ride a motorcycle, I'm significantly more aware of the other drivers than most people. I see a lot more women being distracted on the road than men. Being distracted and drifting, weaving, or driving slower than surrounding traffic can cause people to get upset with you. You really need to pay attention to the single specific task you have while driving.The other thing I'm seeing a lot of lately is more women driving with a guy in the passenger seat. Don't know if anyone else has noticed this.
