Question:
Just a device to tell when you are driving that you are over a limit
Answers:
Insurance company gave me strange b-day gift.?
Years ago Buick had a device on their cars called the speed minder. It was a dial in the speedo that you would set to a specific speed, say 70mph. When you exceeded that speed a buzzer would sound. Every time I was in a Buick with that feature, the dial was set above 120mph.It didn't work and was just an annoyance.

I don't know but I was thinking earlier it would be a great idea. I think about it everytime my car starts beeping at me that I haven't put my seatbelt on yet!Yep its a speedometer! Use cruise control and you wont have to worry about it.
Sat navs do... Some flash the speed in red, some do weird things when you are speeding...
Is there a special campaign for survivors of accidents?

vdo Dayton sat nav does and you can adjust speed and turn on and off easilyWhen is it legal to drive a car in the bike lane?
yes.Road angel tells of speed cameras and tom tom shows up in red when exceeding the limit for a particular road.I need info on cons on why should cell phonrs in cars be banned?
The only one I have experience with is called Kadak which is supported by qualcom... the same system that many over the road trucks use. The model I had (I drove a company owned tractor trailer for a foodservice company) required us to enter the zip code for each stop, would record if we idled over 5 minutes, recorded if we over revved the engine on manual transmissions and would beep if we exceeded 63mph on the highway, even if going down hill.. needless to say, I don't work there anymore as it was distracting and annoying to enter all of this information each time we moved from one stop to the next. probably impractical for the casual motorist.I would wait to purchase any SAT/Nav or in car GPS technology as it is still fairly new and the later generations should address this issue as well as provide more detailed maps and less hands on use for the driver. Hope this helps.
