How likely is a judge willing to dismiss a driving on a suspended licence (14601.2) after I got my licence?

Question:
I am on 2 probations. one for a DUI and another for driving on a suspended. My licence is valid now, and my probation officer is trying to work with me since this would be my third violation on an unrelated felony case, which means prison. I got my truck out and the police department lifted the 30 day hold. Basically, 7 days after the fact, I'm legal on the road. AND please, no smart *** remarks. I know I'm screwed, just looking for a little hope. Anything is appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe your lawyer can get you off on a plea. But you have to get your s**t together! Judges are willing to give a break but you have got to show them you are sincere and ready to change! Incidentially if the felony is unrelated ask your lawyer to try and suppress that in the other cases.

Sweetie, I don't know that the judge will be very lenient. I'm sorry, but with the other problems you have, the judge will sit back, take it all in, and not be very nice about it.

Unfortunetly if the fine is jail time you'll probally be seeing jail time. Judges arent so leniant when it comes down to things like this.

I was in the court house the other day, everybody got the full charge of the crime they commited (some people were being broadcast live from prison), except for traffic tickets and if there was a good reason. Such as if the person failed to appear in court due to being already in jail, charges like that were waived.

A case like yours, such as a driver driving an unregistered vehicle, even after registering it, still got the full penalty.

But I am a little confused, you recieved a 3rd ticket, driving on a suspended license, or is the suspended you listed as your second offence the only suspended license we're talking about?

How can you prevent this?

My only advice to you would be to hire a lawyer. If theres the possibility of loosing a license or jail time, thats when you call a lawyer.

You should never drive again. You have proven that you do not have the mental capacity to handle the responsibility of piloting a multi-ton lethal weapon, and as far as I am concerned you have given up your right to drive.

People like you are a stain on society. Life is not a video game; you cannot ignore the rules and expect to simply hit the "reset" button and start over. You have made the choices that put you where you are now, so quit whining and live with the consequences.
