Question:
Do other people find automatic doors that swing outwards into your face somewhat dangerous? My local hospital has these kind of glass doors and when you are approaching an entrance it is quite dangerous to have these big doors swing towards you. I just wonder if there have been accidents.

LOL! Good answer serial killer! <thumbs up>Does a firetruck have the right of way in every situation?
best place to have an accidentWhy do some seatbelts get twisted in that thing they go through if the manufacturer made them right?
Yes they are and they also have them in some banks.I need info on accident dec 29th 1990. interstate 44 this was a fatal accident?
I think it can be dangerous too. They need to put the sensors further away so you don't get close enough for them to hit you as you get closer.People usually use their eyes to look where they're going. Wouldn't be the hospitals fault if the person doesn't bother to use the common sense they were born with.
I think...its nto dangerous for ppl who are sensible.but for kids of small age...it might be! but automatic doors will always b opening towards one side! now it depends if u r going out or in...unless they have sliding in doors!..
If my car get reposed. Whats the worst that could happen?

besides they r slow enough wich cant hurt ppl badly.but only a small bump on ur head..wich wont pain..incase u bump into it!

i agree, very dangerous, i have witnessed many children have accidents on such doors! if your walking towards they should open inwards, and have in and exit doors!..problem solved
Not the brightest of ideas, is it? Actually, our local A&E have just converted theirs to sliding, t'others were giving them more work!
If they just got rid of sliding doors altogether, it would save a lot of bother.
Have you ever been in a car crash?
It's not exactly hard to open a door manually.
