How fast do you enter a freeway on a straight clear road with a distance of 500 feet?
Yes they do, in fact older cars register mileage when being towed. Newer cars with digital odometers require that the ignition switch be turned on.Why are people in such a damn hurry to get from point a to point b when driving?
Yes they do, I think it's by rotation of tiers. If not someone will correct me.YES. Mileage is calculated by the number of tire turns, not by the amount of gas. This is why it is never good to have the wrong size tires on a vehicle, as it not only throws off miles traveled, but also throws off speedometer, which can get you a speeding ticket!
Why do tall people think they can dictate your seat position on buses and planes?
Yes the odometer is not a part of the foot feed it is a part of the transmssion and works all the time except some autos it dosent work in reverce thanksWhy aren't car seats (as well as crash testing on cars and trucks) done at highway speeds?
The short answer is yes. Unless I am totally mistaken, and I don't think that I am, the odometer does not depend upon the accelerator being activated, not does it depend upon the rate of acceleration. It is connected via cable to the trans axle; therefore, as the vehicle moves, the odometer registers the distance traveled. In addition, placing over sized tires/wheels on a vehicle can alter the accuracy of both the odometer and the speedometer. What does flashing your headlights at an intersection mean?
