Question:
first off , Iam not trying to scam the 2 insurance companys , on monday an individual rear ended me , today noon a commercial vehicle hit me in the front , they both got a ticket , I did not , I walked away from both , so I need ideas on what to do about this , since this just happened, the first wreck on monday has not been seen by that insurance co , let alone the second wreck , !!
I just wanted to be treated fairly by the insurance companys ,
should I let both companys know about each other and the 2 wrecks , or not ?? my car is not drivable now due to the head on , should they pay for a rental 4 me , or how does that work ??
this had never happened to me ever , heheh , what a week Iam having , oh well , could be worse , right !! aany and I mean any ideas would be apreciated !!

Glad you are OK! I'll probably catch a bunch of flak about this reply, but so be it! ALL accidents can be avoided with conscientious driving! You asked, "what to do" ? I would 1st evaluate your driving skills! Think about what you could have done differently to avoid both accidents. Please think hard about this as the next time you may not be able to "walk away" !Regarding the insurance companies: I take it you got an accident report from the police for both accidents? Contact both insurance companies and tell them what happened. They will probably request estimates. If it needs to be towed, get it towed to a good collision repair shop and have them work up separate estimates for each repair. The one that caused the vehicle to be put out of commission should be responsible for any tow-bill and any rental you may require. Contact both insurance companies and see what they say.
Also rely on the collision center to see if in there opinion you are being treated fairly. They deal with damaged vehicles and customers on a daily basis. Another good source of info is AAA. Are you a member? Again, sorry this happened to you!

Talk with your insurance company they will best know how to handle this.( there in the business) I am sure this is not the first time this has ever happened and can be worked out. Let your insurance company guide you. It is in their best interest to help you get your car fixed while letting the other insurance companies pay for it.More Questions & Answers ...
