American seat belt problem in a Buick century. I am a very short person. I cannot seem to adjust the?

Question:
seatbelt any way that does not leave it smack against my neck. This is my elderly fathers car and I am afraid we are going to have to gently take his license away, which means I'll be driving him around in this car. (Father is 6 foot.) Is there some sort of clip or adjustment that can be made to the seat belt that can make it comfortable for me?

Answers:

Why aren't school buses equipped with air bags or at the very least, seat belts?

There are seat belt pads that wrap around the 'problem area' of the belt to cushion it. Some models have adjustable belts where they attach to the B Pillar. A push button allows them to slide up and down the pillar.

Check your local auto parts stores for more ideas. Good luck.

how do i fight my fears?

I commend you on taking away someones driving privileges. This sometimes creates hardships, but over time, they accept this. When someone is not competent to drive, it is safer for that person, and everyone else on the road, NOT to drive.

why dont people use there light signal when turning?

there is a clip you can get they have been around for years just go to any auto parts place and tell them what you need it should be about $5.00 not much at all and it will put the belt in the right place
