First off I guess it depends on where you live. I live in Ohio and our speed limit on the free way is 60 so...I don't ever go 80.70 at the most But I also don't want a ticket or to end up dead.

While on the road,why do we have to stop when an ambulance or fire truck is coming close by?

I never go that much over the speed limit so I don't know. I guess it don't bother me much unless they are going VERY slow. Like 55.

Yes, but sometimes it is completely unavoidable. Keep in mind, it is PEOPLE going 80 MPH in the fast lane, not cars. If there is a left exit, all types of speeds are going to be needed. And you shouldn't be going 80 MPH through city-areas (which is where people tend to ride in the left lane).

Why are people who smoke when driving not getting fined or points on there license yet mobile phone users are?

Yes, even though they are legally entitled to be there. It's not safe or rational for them to be in the fast lane so you need to do the little weave around them before they move over. Usually people that drive in the fast lane below 80 are arrogant, incompetent or Old. or all 3.

Well I'm not sure what the speed lI'mit is where you live but around here that's way over .. and if you are annoyed because you can't pass them then I feel sorry for you ..
And I feel sorry for the people that have to pay through the nose for insurance because of speeders and others just waiting for an accident to happen .. or do you even have insurance ??

i live in houston, texas, big city, less activity, constructino is always an issue, espcially the highways, the tollways, the feeders roads. so we have lots of detour from city to downtown. i live about 40 minutes way from downtown. NW. i have driving on the freeway and i see slow drivers on fast lane cuz they 1) slow the traffic 2) create traffic jams 3) could be asian people/old people 3) they know that the fast lane have no stop or slow downs(like the low lane have exits so u wait or haul or yield to in traffic or the leaving traffic part) so yeah... i drive 70 on 65 MPH lane(fast lane) i weave around traffic. + i haul *** + and i deman d aroad rage... I HONK at slow driver or people use wrong signal lights..
