Question:
I am planning to buy the new Nissan Altima 2007 2.5 S model but i found out that ABS is not standard but optional on the car. So that got me into thinking whether ABS is a must have or a good to have option. I had a honda civic before and i have roughed it a lot but never lost control, it didn't have ABS on it.
What is a Class C Misdemeanor? Or even what is a speeding ticket considered to be?
Let me know your answers keeping in mind the Altima.
Thanks

do you know when they will be giving away free car seats?
There are some myths surrounding ABS.......ABS do not stop your vehicle quicker in ALL weather conditions. MOST yes, but not all.
KIA Sportage - I don't know how to use the 4WD...?
ABS cannot stop a vehicle that is travelling TOO quickly for the road and weather conditions - you, the driver, have to figure that one out.
Automatic Driving Instruction?
........MYTHS BUSTED!
However, ABS can, in most situations, give a driver a more stable environment to work in with regard to stopping distances and steering whilst braking.....even if those drivers are familiar with rhythm/cadence braking and have skid-pan training!
So, yes, if you put yourself in a position that warrants ABS it can be a deal breaker, otherwise it's a good option.
what is the ohio speed limit in parking lots?
I don't know if insurance companies give a reduction in premium in your country, but that may become a factor if you keep the vehicle for a few years...
If you were walking on the road at 3am and saw a crash and noone was around...?
I can live with or without abs, people are still gonna crash into stuff. no matter. Can I use my car for prolong driving?
Yes, it's a deal breaker. ABS should be standard on all but the cheapest cars and the Altima is not a cheap car. By making it optional, they are just trying to rake in the money. I can't tell you what to do, but could you afford a model with ABS?Do you have to resit your driving test at age 75 in England?
I work as a service advisor at a Nissan Dealer and ABS is a must option for any vehicle. Especially at this time of year. If you live in rainy or snowy climate, you will find this to be a life saving option on the vehicle. And if you live in southern california, you will need it even more being that people don't know how to drive out here :) lol! Its a safety feature that will be well worth the extra bucks. Visit my website for a new vehicle www.riversidemetro.com and you can take a virtual test drive of the vehicle. It will explain how important it really is to have ABS. Good Luck!VW Passat 1.9 TDI handbrake (55 plate)?
I't on my 97 Ford Explorer and saved me from being in a freeway pileup the other day.Hell, Recently cop gave me fine for not wearing a seat belt. but actually what?
You'll really wish you had it when you have to stop in a emergency, without it, you will slam on your brakes and slide out of control :)
personnaly I won't own a vehcile with abs, i think they are dangerous.
i've shot thru stop lights when pulling a trailer because the abs went off when i drove over a man cover in the road.
dont u think this might keep the roads safer??
ABS keeps the wheels from locking up, giving u better steering control. (locked up wheels dont steer. ) Useful in slick weather.. ABS got me out of trouble a few times . I wont buy a car without .ABS is worthless unless you drive on snow and ice. Your spending $1000 extra on the car for nothing, and later on you will be paying repairs for it.
