Question:
I think so! One old-fart almost smashed into my car in a Wal-Mart parking lot! And he didnt even LOOK !
Answers:
Does anyone know how to find statistics on things that are safer than others?
This question has been asked million times. No, they shouldn't. But they should be re-examined on the regular basis to ensure they are sane enough to drive.Older drivers are subjected to more frequent tests and exams by the DOT. If they are still fit and capable of driving then there is no reason for their license to be taken away. Personally I think ALL drivers should be tested every 5 years. There is an awful lot of slacking off in regards to safety and the rules of the road by drivers from age 16 when they first get their license until age 65 when they can be subjected to re-testing.
