can you say 4-WHEEL DRIVE....besides i think it is easier to drive on roads that haven't been plowed. once they are plowed it seem like they get slick. my dad works for the state and you should here him complain about the stuff they make them put on the road, how he doesn't think it does any good...haha too funny

They probably have snow shoes , skis or a snowmobile , unless they keep a helicopter in the back yard. Seriously, they probably are employed by the city council and someone with a 4x4 would pick them up to take them to the depot where the snow ploughs are kept.Maybe they have an overnight shift, and they go get the other workers to come in.(I'm glad I don't work for them.
Most have 4 x 4's with studded tires and chains...but usually they are called out before it's too bad. And some do take the snowplow home when the forecast is for snow, especially in rural areas.
