Question:
My mom won't let me!
Answers:
Why does it seem like no one uses a blinker?
No way. It's not safe. Listen to your mother. How is it safer to travel in an airplane than in a car?
All children ages 12 years and younger should ride in the back seat, the safest part of a vehicle in the event of a crash. About one-third of the children ages 12 years and younger who were killed in 2000 were riding in the front seat. This is especially important for vehicles with front passenger-side airbags. Riding in the back seat is associated with at least a 30% reduction in the risk of fatal injury in cars without such airbags. Placing children in the back seat of vehicles reduces this risk by 46%.
what do u have to look forward to on the drivers test?
The force of a deployed airbag can injure or kill a young child even in a slow-speed crash. Children ages 12 years and younger, including infants, should never be placed in a seat in front of an airbag. Riding in the back eliminates children’s risk of such injury.

Mommy knows whats best for you! But my mom lets my little sister sit in the front and she is 9. So tell her you are a big girl and to let you sit in front because my sister does and she is only 9How long will it take for the police to charge me driving without due care and attention?
And your mother is right. If there is a Passenger side air bag, you could be killed in the event of an accident. I'm not sure how tall or how heavy you are but the air bags in cars where designed for adult sized people. (People 5'4 or taller and 110 lbs or more.) Your mother is protecting you. If you read on the sun visor you will see a message saying to not put car seats or small children in the front. there are also many police reports of younglings who have been killed by air bag deployments. for right now the back seat is the safest place for you to sit. So give her a big hug and tell her thank you for protecting you.Is there a website that posts locations of road blocks?
Safety wise it is height and weight that matter in the front seat. On the visor above the front seat it probably says a specific height and weight. It's your mom's car though so like it or not what she say goes. Personally my parents let me and my sisters sit in the front if someone else wasn't already sitting there. Good Luck! What safety issues should I consider when I'm buying a new car?
Is there a law in your state that says you have to be a certain age or a certain size/weight before you're allowed to sit in the front seat? If she doesn't let you sit in the front seat because the vehicle code says you don't meet the requirements, you'd be asking your mother to break the law just so you could have your way, and that's awfully darn selfish. And even if the law says you CAN legally sit in the front seat, it's her car and she has the right to decide where you sit. So do yourself a favor and don't push the issue -- good chance you'll just aggravate your mother every time you ask, and I'm sure she can make life difficult on you if she's in a bad mood...What are the chances of getting in a drunk driving accident?
And that's good too. You're still too young and can get seriously injured up front than in the back.Just wait a few years.
what are they talking about when they say black ice on the roads?
I always rode in the front seat, ever since i was around 5 or 6. My parents weren't paranoid people. It's easier to enjoy life when you're not worrying about everything else. I personally think you should be able to sit in the front.Do we need a car seat for our 3 yr old twin boys?
Come to think of it... I've never met a single parent who wouldn't let an 11 year old sit up front. Maybe 8 or under would have to stay in the back, but definately not 11.
what are the FLORIDA laws for operating a gas scooter (not a moped) in a neighborhood?
